Fabletics Reaches Beyond E-Commerce in its Active Wear Dominance

Active wear on Consumerist has become a big fashion deal these days, and leggings have been outselling denim for a few years now.

Actress Kate Hudson, Adam Goldenberg and Don Ressler are the co-founders of Fabletics, the women’s active wear brand that is taking over today’s markets. The subscription online fashion retailer is doing superbly with e-commerce. More than one million VIP members around the globe have joined the Fabletics community.

The brand sells affordable, quality-made work-out gear and accessories that are stylish and functional. Trendy and colorful yoga pants, tanks, leggings, swimsuits and dresses define the label. Fabletics’ philosophy is “Live your passion,” and Kate Hudson is all about a healthy and active lifestyle away from Hollywood.

Fabletics is doing tremendous business online, but the trio know that women want the option to shop offline, as well. So, Fabletics is planning to open up to 100 brick and mortar retail stores within the next five years. The flexibility gives shoppers the chance to try the stuff on in the store and really feel the fabrics. At home, they can take their time at night, relaxing and browsing what colors they want or what styles they want.

Kate Hudson has aligned herself with two savvy business partners. Adam Goldenberg and Don Ressler are known for their genius at building and shaping brands. Both have had major successes in the e-commerce arena on on fabletics.ca. Adam Goldenberg began his expertise at the young age of 16, creating Gamer’s Alliance Inc., an advertising network of gaming sites. The venture was later bought in 1999 by Intermix Media, parent company of MySpace.

Don Ressler also had his own brand building prowess, selling his company, FitnessHeaven.com to Intermix in 2001. He generated more than one billion in sales and raised more than $100 million in capital for numerous internet companies.

Fabletics is designed and produced at the company’s spacious headquarters in Los Angeles. The brand sells stylish and high quality gear at an accessible price point in thousands of items.

VIP members will save up to 50% off regular pricing and earn points towards free loyalty items when they join the Fabletics community.

To shop or not shop Fabletics every month is always up to the VIP member. If she doesn’t want to shop, it’s simple. The VIP logs into her account to “Skip the Month” by the 5th of each month and she won’t be charged.
